The Longines Heritage Military was inspired by pilot's watches used by the British Royal Air Force during World War II. You may have seen similar models from Omega, most recently in the movie Dunkirk - as worn by RAF pilot Tom Hardy. Although this watch has a large steel bezel, the design is the same. Longines makes similar watches without a 60-second steel bezel like Omega. These were special orders of the British Ministry of Defense (MoD) and were issued at the beginning of the war. While this Longines Heritage Military is a beautiful homage to the original watch, today's watches don't have a diameter of 32mm. But it's not much larger than 38.5mm. As you would expect from a military unit, the bag is polished all around. The only polished part is the bezel which gives the phone a shiny and beautiful frame. For the size of the case, the lugs are short and thick. The vintage crown looks larger than the case size suggests but the case is on the vintage side. Basically, workers can set the time (pick up the watch) even while wearing gloves. I felt it was a bit too big at times and left a mark on my hand. I guess I can move the watch on my wrist.

The back case, like the rest of the watch, is clean and simple. It looks just like a traditional legacy soldier. Longines didn't land on him either.
